![]() My solution has been to delete the Avast registry entries that refer to Outlook in the registry, and Outlook now performs as expected. Yes, Avast seems to be the problem! A recent programme upgrade has added additional registry entries that seem to interfere with MS Outlook and stop it using its links to the intended list boxes within its own programme. Update: Reported to Avast both by phone and web page. Thanks for the tip that appears to have solved this. Whether they do anything about remains to be seen. Mailto: link on a web page works again if Outlook is open and the recipient buttons all work again. I uninstalled Avast and lo and behold, right click works, I can drag emails to journal entries.
